Transparency
This page says plainly what we do, what your fee pays for, and what we cannot promise. If anything here does not match what you were told, message us and we will fix it.
How donor matching works
- 1. A donor pledges one real gift. We speak to the donor, confirm the item exists, and only then put it on the site.
- 2. You pay a small fee — KSh 20, 30 or 100. That fee pays us to find and check donors, run the site, and cover M-Pesa and SMS charges. It is a service fee, not the price of the gift.
- 3. You get your own code by SMS. Your code is your place in the line for that gift. No account is needed.
- 4. When the gift closes, we run the match. The computer picks at random, so every code has the same chance. The result is written into our records.
- 5. If you are picked, you have 7 days to claim. We send an SMS and a private link, then reminders. Gifts nobody claims are shown as unclaimed.
What we promise
- • Every gift on this site is promised by a real donor we have spoken to.
- • The fee is shown before you pay, and again on your receipt.
- • Matching is random. Paying more times does not improve your chance beyond the extra codes you hold.
- • Every payment, match, SMS and refund is written into our records with a time stamp.
- • Your phone number stays with us. We never sell it or pass it to donors.
- • Your photo is only published if you switch it on yourself.
What we do not promise
- • We do not promise you will be picked. Most people who pay a fee are not picked for that gift.
- • The fee is not the price of the gift, and it is not a deposit towards it.
- • This is not a bet, a lottery or an investment. Only spend what you can afford.
- • We do not promise a date for the match beyond the closing date shown on the gift.
- • Donor names shown on the site are the names donors gave us — we do not invent stories about them.
Refund rules
We send your fee back in these cases:
- • The M-Pesa or card payment failed — you get no code and you pay nothing.
- • You were charged twice for the same gift — we send the extra payment back.
- • The gift is cancelled or taken down before the match is run.
- • We cannot match you to a donor for that gift.
Message us on WhatsApp or email support@communitydonars.com with your phone number or your code. Refunds go back to the same M-Pesa number, and we keep a record of every one.
Once we have matched you and the gift went ahead as promised, the fee has done its job and stays with us. Being matched is not a promise that you will be the one picked for the gift.

You can check our work yourself. Every code can be verified, and every match we have run is listed with the gift and the date.
