How it works

We are the people in the middle. Good-hearted donors abroad have something to give; you are here in Kenya looking for a lift. Your small connection fee — from KSh 20 — pays us to find that donor, check the gift is real, and connect the two of you. Simple as that.

  1. Step 1

    A global donor pledges a gift

    Each gift is one real item promised by a donor we know by name — appliances, phones, farm inputs, school kits.

  2. Step 2

    You pay a small connection fee — from KSh 20

    The 20 bob (or 30, or 100, depending on the gift) is a connection fee. It is not the price of the gift and it does not go to the donor. It is what you pay us to find the donor, check that the gift is real, and put your name in the line for it. No account, no forms, no monthly charges — you pay once for that gift, and you get your own code to keep.

  3. Step 3

    You pay by M-Pesa

    A payment request pops up on your phone. Type your M-Pesa PIN and your code comes right away.

  4. Step 4

    Refer 3 friends, get free access

    Bring 3 friends and you both pay no fee next time.

  5. Step 5

    Donors are matched once

    When a gift closes, the computer picks at random so everyone has the same chance. We keep a record of it.

  6. Step 6

    7 days to claim

    If you are picked, we send you an SMS and a private link. Sharing your photo is up to you. Gifts nobody claims are shown as unclaimed.

What your KSh 20 actually pays for

  • • Keeping your code, your phone number and your details safe.
  • • M-Pesa charges, SMS to your phone, and running the site.

It is not a bet and not the price of the gift. Matching happens once a gift closes, we keep a record of every step, and you can check your code any time. If your payment does not go through, you pay nothing.

Common questions

What happens after I pay?
You get an SMS with your code. Your name goes into the matching list for that gift. When the gift closes, the system picks fairly at random. If you are chosen, we send you another SMS with a private link so you can claim your gift.
How is my code kept safe?
Your code is stored privately and linked to your phone number. Only you can check it, and we do not share your phone number with anyone else. We also keep a record of every match so nothing is hidden.
Do I have to create an account?
No. Just pay the small fee and keep your code safe. That is all you need.
