About us & legal

This page is maintained by the team that runs CommunityDonars.com. It says who we are, how to reach a real person, and — just as importantly — which things you cannot yet check independently.

Who we are

Trading name
CommunityDonars.com (Community Support Wins)
What we do
We are a private service, not a charity. We find and check international sponsors who want to fund a gift, and we charge a small fee (KSh 20, 30 or 100) to put you in line to be matched with one.
Based in
Nairobi, Kenya. We work online and by phone — we do not run a walk-in counter.
Payments
Fees are collected by M-Pesa through a licensed Kenyan payment provider. We never handle your PIN.

What you cannot verify yet

We would rather say this plainly than let you assume more than is true:

  • • We have not published a company or NGO registration number on this site yet. Until it is on this page, please do not treat us as a registered charity. If you want our registration details before you pay, email us and we will send what we have.
  • • We are not listed on an independent review site, and no newspaper or regulator has reviewed us. Any good words about us on this site come from us, not from a third party.
  • • We do not publish sponsor names, photos or life stories, because you would have no way to check them. Gifts are shown as funded by an international sponsor, and that is all we claim.
  • • Being matched is not a promise that you will receive a gift. Most people who pay a fee are not the one matched for that gift.

The rules that apply to your fee

We send your fee back if the payment failed, you were charged twice, the gift is cancelled, or we cannot match you to a donor. Just message us.

  • • You must be 18 or older and paying with your own M-Pesa number.
  • • Matching is random. Paying more times only gives you more codes, nothing else.
  • • If you are matched, you have 7 days to claim before the gift is offered to someone else.
  • • Your phone number stays with us. We never sell it or pass it to sponsors.
  • • This is not a lottery, a raffle, a bet or an investment. The fee pays for a donor-matching service.
